2017 Norman Marsh Award, Mike Persson

The Norman Marsh Award recognizes a person who works daily for the benefits of the residents of the Lakes Region.

This year’s award recipient is a good friend to Belknap EDC and many. He is the type of person that keeps stepping up to the plate to support local causes that are near and dear to all of us. There isn’t a community project or effort that is complete without the involvement of this committed local attorney and his family to our region. From supporting our local schools as a Laconia School Board member and serving as a long-time Belknap EDC Director and presently a Loan Committee member, Mike Persson, has made our community better. He has served in leadership roles with the Lakes Region Community College, Granite United Way, Salvation Army, Pleasant Street School, and Belknap County Bar Association, to name a few of the organizations, that have benefited from his leadership and wisdom.
