Colonial Theatre Project Update

Last week we learned that the federal New Markets Tax Credits we hoped would be part of the financing for the Colonial Theatre project will not be forthcoming – no projects in Northern New England received an award in this round. Although these tax credits were a significant part of our ideal funding plan, the redevelopment of the Colonial Theater continues to be an active project.

We continue working with our dedicated partners, including the City of Laconia and State of New Hampshire, developing plans to move the project forward with the millions of dollars that we have already raised.
