Justin Slattery appointed to Federal Reserve Board Community Advisory Council
Belknap EDC Executive Director, Justin Slattery has been appointed to the Federal Reserve Board Community Advisory Council.
The Federal Reserve Board Community Advisory Council is composed of a diverse group of experts and representatives of consumer, workforce, and community development organizations and interests from throughout the country. The 15 members provide information, advice, and recommendations to the Board on relevant policy matters and emerging issues of interest.
The Community Advisory Council (CAC) was formed by the Federal Reserve Board in 2015 to offer diverse perspectives on the economic circumstances and financial services needs of consumers and communities, with a particular focus on the concerns of low- and moderate-income populations.
The CAC complements two of the Board's other advisory councils--the Federal Advisory Council and the Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council--whose members represent depository institutions. The CAC meets semiannually with members of the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
Slattery will serve a three-year term. For more information, visit the Federal Reserve's CAC page.
